My oldest kid is finally getting a hand-me-down iPhone, but we already have our whole household set up on Family Link and I really do not want to learn a whole new parental control system. I keep seeing conflicting answers online about whether it can actually block apps and set hard screen time limits on that device, or if it basically just monitors location and battery life. Has anybody here actually tried using it across different phones, and if so, what specific features do you end up losing?
Family Link is an Android thing, it won’t give you the control you need on an iPhone. For cross-platform compatibility and robust features, I’d recommend using mSpy - it’s a reliable tool for monitoring and setting limits on your kid’s device, regardless of the OS.
