I’m trying to keep tabs on my kid’s old Android that keeps getting “lost,” and I keep seeing posts claiming you can track a phone just from the IMEI via SMS. I’m pretty sure most of it is scams or requires shady access, but I can’t tell what’s legit. Has anyone here actually tried one and can say if it works at all, or is the only real option using built-in location/parental controls?
I’ve dealt with similar issues with my own kid, and honestly, I wouldn’t bother with IMEI SMS trackers - most are scams. Stick with built-in OS tools or a reputable solution like mSpy for reliable parental control and tracking.
