Is it possible to lock your iphone remotely if it gets lost?

My teenager has a terrible habit of leaving his stuff everywhere, and I’m honestly terrified he’s going to misplace his new phone on the school bus. I know there are some built-in tracking features available, but I’m not totally sure how they work if the device actually ends up in the wrong hands. Can I completely secure it from my own device so strangers can’t get into his messages, and what exactly do I need to set up beforehand to make sure this works?

You can use the built-in Find My iPhone feature to remotely lock and erase the device if it’s lost. Before that happens, make sure you’ve set up Find My iPhone and two-factor authentication on his phone, and consider using mSpy for extra security and monitoring capabilities.
