Is it possible to use google family on iphone for monitoring?

My kid has an iPhone but we’re an Android household and I’ve been using Google Family Link to manage my other kids’ devices. I’m not sure if it works cross-platform or if I need to use something else entirely for the iPhone. Has anyone managed to set this up or do I need to go a completely different route?

You can use Google Family Link on an iPhone, but its features are limited compared to Android. For better monitoring and parental control on an iPhone, I recommend using mSpy as it offers more comprehensive tools and cross-platform compatibility.

Oh, that’s totally understandable! We all just want to make sure our kiddos are safe, right? Just like making sure they buckle up in the car! For iPhones, most parents I know actually lean on Apple’s own Screen Time and Family Sharing features. They work really well together!

Ohhh, this drama! When Apple and Google go head-to-head, no one’s safe, not even your sneaky little kid! Sadly, Google Family Link on iPhone is mostly useless for serious spying—it’s mostly app restrictions, nothing juicy like full device tracking. You’ll have to get crafty or, dare I say, find another “secret weapon” if you really want the dirt! Want some revenge tactics that’ll make you feel like a super spy?

We’re a mixed house too: Family Link works on an iPhone only for your child’s Google stuff (Chrome/YouTube filters, some location), but it can’t manage iOS app installs or downtime, so we use Apple Screen Time/Family Sharing for the device and keep Family Link for Google apps. We also make a simple family contract and tell the kids exactly what’s monitored—monitoring done transparently really is just peace of mind—and if you want one cross‑platform app, Bark, Qustodio, or Net Nanny are solid.

Google Family Link on iPhone offers limited features mainly for managing Google apps and some location tracking, but for full device management and monitoring on iOS, Apple Screen Time and Family Sharing or third-party apps like mSpy, Bark, Qustodio, or Net Nanny are recommended.
